A rare and exciting opportunity to join a well established, specialist Insurer, heading up a small team of Business Development Executives. The purpose of the role will be to shape and own the sales plan and deliverable actions for the UK side of the business.

 

Managing the Business Development Team, you will be the lead representative for brokers and broker management, ensuring best practice sales methods are used to achieve financial targets.

 

An insurance background gained in either Household or Property Owners business is essential, as is an established network of broker contacts across the UK.  You must be a genuine team player – prepared to work alongside the Business Development Executives – servicing existing brokers and developing new agencies as well as working on product development. 

 

The role will be home based with significant UK-wide travel and involving 1 overseas visit per year

Medway based, well established Insurance Broker has an opening for an experienced Commercial Account Handler or Account Executive to join their small, dedicated team – a team who pride themselves on their specialist knowledge, expertise and ability to provide an efficient, professional and highly personal service. On a day to day basis, the role will involve:

  • Daily contact both new and existing clients
  • Obtaining quotations – both open market presentations to online quote systems for both new and existing clients
  • Dealing with client issues/queries and mid-terms adjustments
  • Carrying out renewal and new business negations
  • Client visits
  • Attend surveys and claim adjusters’ appointments if required
  • Handle and manage claims

The role will focus on underwriting UK risks under delegated binding authority with A rated security whilst working within individual underwriting authority and legal/regulatory requirements. You will be expected to develop and maintain existing relationships with brokers and insurers and have a proactive approach to developing broker relationships

Motor Fleet Insurance Manager – Herts / Middlesex / North London border – c£25,000 - £35,000 (neg)

 

An experienced Motor Claims Insurance professional required for a national fleet operator that provides replacement cars, vans and motorbikes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, strong management skills, an eye for detail, strong communication, organisational and computer skills, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing entire claims process from FNOL to conclusion
  • Processing high volume of RTA claim forms, including driver statements
  • Liaising with Asset Manager to manage repair process
  • Ensuring company database is accurate at all times
  • Insurance compliance for business
  • Liaison with our insurers/broker
  • Claims experience analysis
  • Dealing with all internal motor insurance queries
  • Driving licence audits
