Client Services Director - Gibraltar – Negotiable

 

The Client Service Director is responsible for being the primary interface for clients and potential clients. This is a consultative role, anticipating client expectations, and ensuring the right teams and capabilities are deployed to provide both advisory and ongoing servicing. 

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate: with all stakeholders & service delivery teams.
  • Sales and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell insurance products and services to existing clients. Collaborate with the Business Development team to generate new business and expand the client base.
  • Regulated Positions: Hold Board-level or Regulated Individual positions with clients.
  • Contract Renewals: Monitor contract renewal dates and proactively engage with clients to ensure timely renewals.

 

Experience Required:

 

Proven experience of managing insurance client relationships. Knowledge of the insurance markets and regulatory environments in the jurisdictions in which the company’s clients operate (Gibraltar and the UK in particular). Have the ability to hold regulated positions (for clients).

 

Whilst candidates that are already based in Gibraltar would be preferred, a relocation package is also available for interested candidates with the relevant experience from the UK.

Technical Life Insurance Expert - Gibraltar / Remote – Negotiable

 

The Technical Expert will be responsible for providing and preparing input on the authorisation and supervision of financial services firms against legislative and regulatory requirements in Gibraltar.

What you will be doing:

  • Providing direction for the effective processing of authorisation and supervision-related work of Life Assurance firms to ensure that assessments are conducted in a timely manner, providing oversight in particularly complex and high-risk applications, making recommendations for decisions, and ensuring that any potential risks can be effectively supervised going forward.
  • Recommending decisions on supervisory actions for insurers in Gibraltar.
  • Providing technical expertise when carrying out/ reviewing risk assessments with the aim of understanding key risks faced by Life Assurance firms.
  • Proactively building strong relationships, with a diverse set of stakeholders, including firms, representative bodies, consumers, the Government of Gibraltar, UK and international regulators
  • Leading the development and effective delivery of the strategic operational plan in a changing market environment.
  • Maintaining a strong, current understanding of relevant market, Government of Gibraltar, UK and other international regulatory developments, and their implications.
